Secret Service denies intentionally deleting Jan. 6 text messages
The U.S. Secret Service is defending itself against allegations it deliberately deleted text messages from before and during the Jan. 6 insurrection. The messages were allegedly deleted shortly after they were requested by the DHS inspector general as part of an investigation into the agency's response during the assault.
