Containers topple off cargo ship, plunge into California waters
More than a dozen shipping containers tumbled off a ship and into the water at the Port of Long Beach in California on Tuesday morning when a cargo vessel listed to one side, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. Another 50 containers collapsed onto the ship. No injuries or pollution were reported, but cargo operations were temporarily suspended as emergency crews responded to the scene.
