Man saved after clinging to pole for hours amid flooding in India
A man was rescued on Tuesday in northern India after spending more than four hours clinging onto an electricity pole as deadly floodwaters raged around him, local media reported. A rescue team reportedly spent another two hours attempting to rescue him, securing him to their line and sending him across the water to dry ground.
